One of the 'dead end villages' of the Faroe Islands: Tjornuvik.

Who would have thought that my beard, of all things, would get me in front of the camera? I am invited to the Faroe Islands in the North Atlantic to shoot an public relations film for an eco-energy provider. On board, of course, my camera.

Evening view over the Bordoyarvík Fjord to Klaksvik, the midsummer light is absolutely magical. In the foreground on the right the village Nordoryi, whose roots go back to the Viking Age.

Probably the most beautiful of its kind on the Faroe Islands: the two-stage waterfall Fossa.

Making Of: Strong wind makes shooting with drone difficult.

Making Of: Screening the results. This time, the umbrella protects the sun's rays, otherwise you would see nothing on the display.

Moonrise at 11:30 p.m-, which feels much more like a sunset. Rarely have I seen anything more fascinating. I don't have a tripod with me and have to shoot with my hands with a Supertele. Not an easy task, the picture is blurred. Anyway, I don't want to withhold this moment.

To the center of the earth! The most spectacular trip I’ve ever done: the Son Doong cave expedition in Vietnam. First, it’s through leech-infested jungle. Then, abseiling down into the cave, over sharp rocks, through underground lakes, gigantic shafts. Absolutely breathtaking!
